Alain was born in the south of France in 1974. His love story with photography began at five when he was given his first camera by his father, an experimental filmaker who filmed Gaudi's work and Dali.
After studying literature and cinema he came back to photography as the most immediate and intuitive medium he could use. He has been influenced by cinema, music, literature and painting more than by other photographers. Uncynical, oniric and paranoid, his photos are often seen as a romantic try to find hidden meanings and surreal visions in mundane life.
Alain speaks english and french and is available for commercial works in France, Québec, and anywhere else. Prints are available too.

Alain est né dans le sud de la France en 1974. Son histoire d'amour avec la photographie a commencé à cinq ans quand son père, un cinéaste expérimental qui a filmé l'œuvre de Gaudi et Dali, lui a fait cadeau d'un appareil photo.
Après avoir étudié la littérature et le cinéma il est revenu à la photographie comme le moyen d'expression le plus immédiat et le plus intuitif. Il a été plus influencé par le cinéma, la musique, la littérature et la peinture que par la photographie. Dépourvues de cynisme, oniriques et paranoïaques, ses photos sont souvent vues comme une tentative romantique de trouver des signes cachés et des visions surréelles dans la vie ordinaire.
Alain parle anglais et français et est disponible pour des travaux commerciaux en France, au Québec et ailleurs. Des tirages sont disponibles.
